The new Yamaha F9.9F is a compact, lightweight four-stroke which replaces the existing "C" model. It is based around the already successful, proven F8 model, and is the smallest and most economical 4-stroke outboards in their category, and features a all new powerhead with a larger 212cc displacement making it around 8% larger capacity than its smaller horsepower counterparts. Class leading fuel economy, when compared with other four-strokes in the same category and up to 50% better fuel economy than any comparable two-stroke model of the same power! Other important differences include the use of a larger F15 type mounting bracket, carburettor with accelerator pump plus the use of a longer tiller on the two High Thrust GMH models.
