This kit upgrades the older style of rowlock block to accommodate the new "Safe-Clic" style. The previous rowlock, (push in and turn 180 degrees to lock) is now obsolete, and thus your tender will need this upgrade to fit the new rowlocks which lock into place and can turn through 360 degrees safely, due to the latch system. New rowlocks which will back fit your oars are included.
